I have studied dance and movement for 25 years. Performing, choreographing and teaching dance are among my greatest passions! My interest and fascination with the body that I have gained through dancing led me to study bodywork. In my studies and practice of bodywork, the inseparable nature of mind, body and spirit sparked my fascination with energywork and working with the energy system to facilitate holistic health.
I began my training as a somatic practitioner in 2004 and continue to educate myself through workshops, classes and reading. I am trained in Western and eastern styles of bodywork, but have naturally gravitated to Eastern styles of bodywork and healing philosophy. I am a level II Reiki Practitioner and continue to study Ayurvedic and Chinese Acupressure as healing art forms. My vision for my professional future is to use dance and movement as a healing art, and integrate this process with bodywork and energy work to facilitate individual healing at the deepest level.
